Gold rates are refreshed daily across all locations, keeping everything current and reliable. You can check live gold rates online or in stores anytime, which lets you plan your purchases smartly during favourable dips.  

• Purity and certifications 

Along with transparency, Tanishq maintains strict standards for gold purity and uses carefully tested, high-quality alloys to ensure both durability and brilliance in every piece. Gold purity certification through HUID stamps verifies the exact karat quality, giving you complete peace about what lies beneath the shine of your jewellery.

Making charges account for everything from melting and shaping the gold to detailed engraving, polishing, and even advanced fusion techniques that create the wearable works of art we know and love. There are two types of making charges: handmade, where skilled karigars shape each piece, and machine-made for quicker production. At Tanishq, our Karigars dedicate immense effort and time to perfecting each step, ensuring the jewellery not only feels comfortable, but also looks exquisite.  

• Why do they vary by design? 

A simple chain requires less intricate work, so its charges stay modest, while an elaborate diamond jewellery piece with fine detailing calls for more artisan hours and specialized techniques. Innovations like lightweight designs cut down on material usage compared to standard pieces, striking a perfect balance between beauty and true value. Beyond artistry, every Tanishq piece’s clasps are tested thousands of cycles, hooks and links are subjected to extreme conditions far beyond the needs of everyday wear, so you can trust that your jewellery is built to last a lifetime, not just look beautiful on day-one.  

Tanishq making charges start from as low as 7%, and just 3% for coins, and you can choose from an immense collection of over 1.8 lakh finely crafted designs, starting from just Rs.15,000. Their making charges for each depend on weight, design complexity, and current gold rates, all of which are shown clearly when you buy your piece.

Rooted in Tanishq’s philosophy of proof over promise, DXC combines certification with advanced machines, enabling consumers to examine key diamond characteristics firsthand rather than relying solely on diamond certification or expert guidance. 

The Diamond Caratmeter helps distinguish natural diamonds from synthetic ones which would not have been possible otherwise. The Lightscope helps consumers compare how different diamonds reflect and return light, making it easier to identify diamonds with exceptional sparkle and brilliance. The Diamond Clarity Viewer lets consumers examine a diamond’s inclusions and understand its clarity grading like your VS, VVS, etc in detail. Rather than depending solely on certification, consumers can independently evaluate a diamond’s clarity grading against a certificate and make a more informed purchase decision.

Tanishq measures diamond carat weight as precisely as up to three decimal places, ensuring you pay only for the exact diamond you receive. For instance, while many jewellers round 0.231 carats up to 0.24 carats, Tanishq keeps it at 0.231, protecting you from any hidden overcharges. This may seem small, but rounding even 0.01 carat across thousands of purchases means customers unknowingly pay for diamonds they never actually received.
